Why you need SEO and more traffic?
by Omadsense

Do you get more than 1,000 visitors a day at your website?

I created a website for videos - Hot girls, the kind of videos men like. It's doing very well as far as visitors go. After all - we're talking about men and wanting to see girls..... No rocket science needed there.

My goal is to get an average of 1,000 or more visitors a day. You ask why?

Just think about it for a minute:
There may be a simpler way to make money from your visitors with out worrying about offending Google or trying to get visitors to click an ad. In fact, I know there is.

For one moment think of this - forget about Google and it's "Adsense" program. Forget about any PPC program for that matter and consider going direct. Yes, direct. Straight to the companies who pay Google to place ads on Adsense - they would rather go straight to you any way.

You might think that "Affiliate programs" are the only way you can make money if you don't personally have something to sell. Yes it's the easiest way to make money if you have a good size of traffic going to your website on a daily basis. That is, if the ads convert well [ meaning have good relevance to your subject matter ]. But it is not the best way to make money. In fact - if you work your way up towards getting 10,000 visitors a month - people will start calling you. Heck Google will call you.

Yep, you hit the 10,000 visitor mark and you'll start getting people who will write, email, even call you so they can exchange links, work with you, even pay you to have their products posted on your site.

I had a gentleman email me 2 days ago asking to swap links with me - in fact, he already had placed a link to my site on his website to show how serious he was about wanting to exchange links. And this was on one of my new and smaller sites. I am not saying forget about doing any "affiliate program" but I want to remind you that as hard as it may be to improve your site and get the best ranking possible. It all pays off in the end.

Don't take cheap short cuts or use "black Hat" tricks - in the end they fail you and you could get blacklisted by those you want calling you - Google.

Take for example when you create a Adword campaign, there's a section there where they offer to place your ads on sites that have 10,000 to 500,000 monthly visitors. The cost could range from paying $0.10 cents for every impression to $0.01 cents for every impression your ad has on these sites. Imagine - they don't even have to have a person click on the ads in order to get paid - just for the impression they make money?????

Don't give up, you can do it. Place good content on your sight, consider some SEO tips, and get working - once you hit 10,000 visitors a month on average - you can take a vacation. ....LOL

Improving Efficiency with Warehouse Inventory Software
by Kelly Hunter

There are many benefits to using different software programs in the business world. The computer has opened up more options regarding technology and has made many business practices better, especially when dealing with warehouse management. Technology can mean loads less of paperwork, less time spent doing inventory and most importantly- less money out of a company's pocket! When it comes to warehouse inventory software, a company can handle products/ goods in a more efficient manner and ship accurately. There are not as many chances for mistakes as when manual labor is in charge because computerized software means no workers getting tired or paid overtime for doing tedious work that they neither want to do nor do you want to pay them to do!

What else does warehouse software improve? These systems are effective the minute you integrate them into your business because they are easily applicable and they are easy to manage for your current staff. There is not that high of a learning curve so adapting to new software isn't too difficult even for not that tech savvy of employees. It becomes easier for your staff to manage different products as well because with each part of your warehouse separated into 'bins' employees only need to look at the database to accurately locate certain things. When you have the need to pick up items from one of your specific warehouses you need only to check the integrated database for a complete listing of current and expected inventories. When you receive goods into your warehouse, your warehouse management software automatically guides you through organization processes so that you can put items away where they should go, and where it will be easiest to get back out in a timely manner.

These organizational systems are flexible for easy to manage product changes. Say you have to adapt to changing products and you want to adjust your database for the changes. With the better and more flexible options of system management this is possible with just a few clicks on the main database. With an integrated system this will then change all the warehouses that are set up in unison with the main office. The main office is the hub, if you will, of your operations. The hub is where all the major changes are made and all other warehouses adapt according to the settings of this warehouse.

Maximum efficiency is only possible through one solution; all warehouses that are under the same company need to be integrated. Above you have read the importance of integration; about how it can save time and money for a busy company but integration is also the key component to supreme organization. Integration is simply giving all the warehouses the same data access. While you will certainly take advantage of having one 'main docking center' you will be a stronger company when all warehouses have similar access to product lines and inventory.

Businesses can win out largely when using good warehouse software because software makes day to day operational tasks easier to do and much easier to manage.

Make Real Money At Home With This Idea
by Jack Lowry

Success is a mental journey and not so much an external event. In order to make real money at home you must understand and implement the necessary tools for success. Making real money at home, while possible with a stroke of luck, requires desire and dedication that most people seem to disregard as meaningless. The fact of the matter is that making real money at home requires real, actual work and is not a get rich quick scheme. However, the time required to make real money at home is much less than you might expect, especially once you have an online business up and running.

Once you are able to fully grasp the ramifications of the above paragraph, I would like to present you with a cheap and easy idea to make real money at home. This idea requires less than 20 hours of work a week, and can even be done with much fewer work-hours. It is also nearly free!

The idea I'm talking about is affiliate marketing. This is a process that allows you to promote a product and receive a commission fee based on the sale price for every customer you are able to convert. There are thousands of people making real money at home with affiliate sales programs. And best of all, it is virtually risk-free; you don't have to come up with a product idea nor deal with manufacturing, inventory and shipping costs.

To get started making real money at home, choose a product that you might have some knowledge about or some degree of interest in. Then, you will want to start marketing the product by attempting to drive traffic to the product owner's webpage after being referred by you.

One of the simplest and cheapest ways to drive traffic and make real money at home is by setting up a free blog, and making daily unique content posts related to your product or products. You might only need to do one post a day, which would be less than 20 minutes of work per day. Although you might not make real money at home right away, you will slowly build up a loyal readership and community that will decide to purchase the products you recommend and really start you on the path to wealth and success.

Make real money at home by taking this idea and doing some further research to build a solid business plan to follow. Good luck!

A Top Secret Way For FREE Pay-Per-Clicks
by Dr. Ron Sakamoto

A new breakthrough secret is all you now need in order to get your Google AdWords pay-per-clicks FREE!

A gentleman from New York discovered what he calls an "oversight" on the part of 99.9% of all marketers that allows him to get otherwise paid-for advertising at Google as well as all other search engines that allow sponsored ads.

And no, nothing about his "secret" is illegal - nor does it require that you know someone on the "inside" at Google, Yahoo, MSN, Overture and others.

Instead, the New Yorker boasts proudly "...this is something that I caught onto just before 2000 when there was so much search engine craze running around, and started doing small just to test things at first ... but which I later expanded on after getting the hang of it."

This same fellow went on to start and operate sixteen separate online companies selling everything from pet food, DVDs, children's toys & games, books, software, and sold not only his own manufactured products but became an affiliate for other web businesses - all the while applying his mastermind secret.

Over the course of nearly eight years the New Englander confesses "I've actually gotten over $87 million in advertising that using my secret I never had to pay for ... and the largest share of which was more recently in Google pay-per-clicks as well as other forms of pad advertising at search engines ... all of which I got for free ..."

So powerful is his secret that he's able to monopolize any niche online, and can always secure the top premium spots just above the usual organic results featured at most search engines.

He still has to set up an account with the search engines - but after applying his secret he is removed from having to pay for all the costs otherwise involved.
Again, nothing about his secret is either illegal or robs from the search engines.
One spokesperson from one of the most popular search engines said chuckling after being made privy to this amazing secret "Wow! Ha! This is really unique ... and in my expert opinion it would only serve to enhance and bring more business to us at [name of search engine withheld for legal & confidentiality reasons] and not cause us to lose business in the slightest. Amazing!"

The northerner revealed that in this nearly eight years' period of time since applying his secret he's done well over $300 million in sales revenue with a most diverse line of products, and most recently in the last two years netted nearly $166 million after really "buckling down and pressing my secret to its fullest potential."

Now to everyone else's fortune, the city slicker is releasing his secret for getting an unlimited amount of pay-per-click ads to the general public. But he's not promising any of us for how long.

A bit of an eccentric, the gentleman says "We'll see just how long I can make it available before it saturates things."

One famous public web guru pointed out that although this man may gain economically more so as a result of the publication of his secret "he's already so amazingly rich that whether he continues or discontinues its sale will neither make nor break the man, but not grabbing it for yourself while it's still available could prove disastrous for you as you may only have one chance, and a very limited one at that, to get this."

It is currently available at:

http://www.saksmarketing.com

...so you may want to head on over there now and get it.

It's in a very easily readable format and is quickly and readily understood and mastered by anyone with even a 4th grade reading level.

While you're there, why not scroll down and review for yourself the huge successes others are now having with this incredible breakthrough in targeted advertising now made freely available to the rest of us?

To your success,

Choose The Right Keywords, Boost Your Online Sales
by Matthew Bredel

Keywords represent a user's needs, desires, problems, and issues. In order to cater to the needs of the users, or a specific group of users, you should know what keywords they are most likely to type in the search field.

Keyword research is the process of finding the right keywords related to your website and analyzing which among them will generate high traffic to your site. This will in turn yield high sales or revenues for your online business.

Here are some things that you need to keep in mind when going through keyword research process:

* Your main keyword.

If you don't know what your main keyword should be, just ask yourself a very simple question; "What am I doing in order to make money online?"

If you sell used cars online, then having "used cars" as your main keyword sounds good.

It is important, however, that you avoid keywords that are too general and competitive. This can be done by listing specific keywords once you have identified your target market.

* Your target market.

Your target market is made up of users who are interested to learn about or purchase the products and services that you offer online. Who are most likely to purchase your products?

Your target market depends on the coverage of your business. If you limit your business to just selling used cars within Texas, then your target market should be Texans who want to purchase used cars.

* Your specific keywords.

Your specific keywords should meet the needs of your target market. You can have three to five specific keywords for every web page in your site.

If you are selling used cars in Texas, then your specific keywords should include the noun "Texas". If you sell a particular brand of used cars, say BMW, then you should indicate BMW in your specific keywords.

Through your general and specific keywords, you can identify the contents you need to include in your website. Main keywords, for example, can be used as a title of your website or blog. Main keywords can also be used as your domain name. Specific keywords can be used as a tag or title of your individual posts.

* Using keyword suggestion tools.

Yahoo's Overture is the simplest keyword suggestion tool that you can use. It works by giving you a list of keywords that users are more likely to type into the search fields. The list usually contains keyword search volume or count for a particular period of time.

Other keyword tools like Wordtracker or Good Keywords and might require you to download the software into your computer for free or with minimal pay. Downloadable and paid keyword suggestion tools might have features which are not available in free web-based tools like Overture.

By following these simple keyword essentials, there is a high possibility that your entire search engine optimization process will become a success. Yes, keyword research is just the first step in increasing traffic to your website. So you'd better make one good leap at it in order to top the search engine results and increase the volume of your product sales.

Avoiding Home Business Failures
by Obinna Heche

When it comes right down to it, most people who have a home business are working for themselves for many reasons. They probably love what they do, they have a passion for it and the idea of working from home is also something that they can do because it allows them to be at home, to take the time off that they need and to be in complete control over their lives. However, there might be a point in which you, no matter how you feel about the reasons you are working from home, get frustrated and want to quit your business.

Many Reasons

There are many reasons that you might want to quit. Perhaps you are not doing as well as you had expected and perhaps you can not see how you can do better. Maybe you are bored or burnt out or maybe you think it would be much easier just to go back to work. However, logically, you probably realize that if you can stick it out you will find yourself in a much better position than you ever have been before and you will find that you can get the money you need. So, how do you stick it out? Where do you get the strength to keep going, even if you want to quit?

Get Some Help

One of the biggest things that you can do if you find yourself thinking about quitting your business is to figure out how to get some help. If you can afford to, this might be the time to hire someone to run the day to day or meaningless tasks of your business, the things that are bringing you down. If you can not afford to hire someone, maybe you want to bring a spouse on board or talk to your children about helping you out from time to time. Often just talking to someone about your day to day activities is a great way to help yourself if you want to go on.

Reorganize

Another thing that you can do to help yourself if you feel like quitting is to reorganize your life and reorganize your business so that you are feeling like it is new and so that there are new things going on. This can relieve a lot of stress and if you go through each aspect of your business and reorganize it, you might find that you actually find better ways to run your business and ways to make more money.

These are great tips which you should try before you decide for sure that you want to quit your home business. Often if you can find a way to get through the rough patches you will find that you are much better off with your home business and you can do much better on your own.

Home Business Promotion Tips
by Gordon Milton

Naturally, anyone who launches a home based business has high hopes for success. Many are surprised to find that it takes a lot more than placing a few ads in the paper, to build a large and successful business. If you want to grow your business, the following tips may help you do just that.

For support, family and friends are a good starting point, but you would be well advised to expand your network. To do this, consider the places where you can find good customers who are also centers of influence. Some ideas include local civic associations, regional trade shows, professional conferences and seminars, breakfast clubs and chamber of commerce meetings.

Create a network through locating other businesses who are not in competition with you, but who are likely to get inquiries about the type of products and services that you offer. For instance, your speciality may be submersible pumps. If you've established a good relationship with a quality pipe supplier, they may send you people who want a pump and in exchange you should send them people who need piping.

Whenever the opportunity arises, talk to people. The possibilities are endless and it gives you something to do instead of just waiting around for a bus or airplane. Just striking up a conversation can bring you in a lot of additional business.

If you use the internet then you may want to consider checking message boards and forums relative to your niche, to help build your online mailing list. Whether you are selling a local product or not, when online, your computer screen puts you within a few feet of the rest of the world.

Consider doing a few local demonstrations on the product or service you are offering. This can help increase the publicity for your business. Or for instance, if you sell pet portraits, you could hang samples of your pictures in local veterinary clinics and pet supply shops, adding to the decoration. This way you can increase your popularity, be passively advertising and possibly gain further sales later.

For the top marketing techniques consider attending functions that focus on your niche products and industry and networking with people to learn from their successes and challenges. Another technique is to study any trade journals for your business industry. You will probably discover people that you can approach with a specific question or problem that you may encounter with your business. Remember to follow up with the individual and thank them for their help so they know you appreciate it.

The Trouble With Click Fraud?
by Terry Detty

Click fraud involves the process of intentionally clicking ads listed on your website for the purpose of earning money rather than intending to view the products of the advertiser. Adsense involves placing ads on your website for other businesses. The way your website makes money is determined by the number of clicks to the advertiser's link. Most websites who participate in Adsense are honest. However, the issue of click fraud is happening more often on the internet as the owner's of some websites have found it an enticing method of generating more money from the advertisers.

With the onset of click fraud, software has been designed to analyze data based on the traffic to a website. This information is used to determine the possibility of click fraud. If you advertise this way you should invest in click fraud software or you may pay more for advertising than you should be. This software costs from $99 to $299, so it is very cost effective. It is believed as much as 20% of the cost advertisers are paying out each month is due to click fraud. With 3.2 million dollars generated each year for this type of advertising, 20% is a very high dollar amount to be losing!

A common method of click fraud involves an online robot that clicks away at the advertisements listed on a particular website. This is the quickest method. Others either do it themselves, clicking away at the ads on their own website or they hirer others to perform the task for them at a price much less than what they receive in return from the advertisers. Sometimes click fraud is done not to make money but to sabotage competitors. This is done by finding websites that advertise for them and continually click the ads. This will then cost that competitor a great deal of money they have to pay out for advertising without any hopes of generating additional sales from that cost.

Those who participate in the act of click fraud should be very careful. There are strict guidelines in place by Google to protect the reputation of their Adsense operations. Anyone caught participating in click fraud will be banned from further advertisements on their website. Google has invested 2.7 million for their Fraud Squad. They feel this investment is worthwhile though as click fraud is a serious issue. It has the potential of destroying the entire advertising industry online as we know it.
There are legal issues involved as well. A California man was charged with obtaining more than $150,000 due to click fraud in 2004. He has been indited by a Grand Jury. However, there are no state or federal laws yet against click fraud. This particular man was only indited in his scam because he came clean about it with Google in a blackmail scheme. He was going to sell his secret of how he did it to Google for another $150,000. If they didn't give it to him he threatened to keep on doing it. If we can get state and federal laws to see click fraud as a classification of fraud with the possibility of a felony charge and jail time it may deter the amount of click fraud that takes place.

Click fraud is a huge issue that plagues the success of Adsense. If you participate in Adsense then be warned on both sides of the field. As a provider of such advertising don't be tempted to click on the ads yourself or with an automated system. The risk of getting caught is very high as are the financial and legal repercussions. As an advertiser pay close attention to high changes in advertising costs through Adsense. Take the time to question these increases. Is it click fraud or great increases in traffic? Have sales increased? It is a great idea to invest in click fraud software as well to protect your business as well as your advertising budget.

Avoiding Scams while Searching for a Work From Home Opportunity.
by Corey Wishon

There are several great work from home opportunities, however for every legitimate program there seems to be ten or more scams. Being caught in a scam could result in a serious loss of money, identity theft, or worse. It will shake your confidence and willingness to continue to follow opportunities. It is an absolute shame that people try and take advantage of those who just want to further themselves finically and personally. It is also one of the reason that the work from home market has begun to acquire such a bad stigma.

Though there is no shortage of scams there are ways that one can wade through the lies and find the legitimate opportunities. It is important to be able to have a strategy to tell the difference between legitimate and scam programs. What is the program claiming? Is it claiming unlimited success with very little or no work? There is one fact that rings true in life. There is no such thing as a free lunch. Anything that is going to make you an income is going to require work on your part.

Does the program specify an unrealistic timeline in which you will become wealthy or successful? Unless you win the lottery you will not get rich overnight. It will take time for you to generate a large income and you will have many obstacles to overcome and that will help you grow.

What does the program have to offer, what kind of support to they have if you need help, are they over selling? Look at the program itself, see if they have an active forum, call any contact information that they have and ask questions. Good programs sell themselves and do not need all that much flashy advertising.

Like all business opportunities you must thoroughly research any program that you intend to participate in. You should go to a popular website and put in "the program name, scam" see what comes up. Go to professional sites like the better business bureau www.bbb.org and see if there is anything negative said about the business. There are several referral services that provide listings of proven and legitimate work from home opportunities for people to review. I personally own one such service www.wealthfromhometoday.com I strive to only provide legitimate opportunities in my directories. Even if you use mine or other services you still should make sure that you follow the steps mentioned above.

Never give up on your dreams and don't let con artist take advantage of your desires. Last but certainly not least use your gut feeling. If you have a bad feeling about a program then it is best to leave it alone. Also understand that there is no such thing as a "free" program. You will inevitably have to put in some investment, advertising, time, subscriptions, etc. Most legitimate programs do cost an initial startup fee and almost all programs will require you to do some advertising. You need to developed good business since and keep track of your expenses.

Don't overdo it; if you cannot afford to spend a thousand dollars a week then don't spend a thousand a week on advertising. If you do not own a business you will have to provide your SSN for a W-9. The federal government requires W-9 for tax purposes so do not be surprise if you get a W-9 request, in fact be leery if you do not. Do what you can and reinvest some of your profit back into your business.

I must also make the point that a lot of people who said that they have been "scammed" by a legitimate program joined the program with unrealistic expectations of success and poor business sense.

Affiliate marketing - Do I need a website?
by Derek Jones

Many people tend to think of an Internet Business in the same way as an offline business where they have a shop to store their products and a shop window to display them. The analogy is acceptable with your own product to sell, but is not essential when you are selling someone else's product. You do not buy and resell, therefore you do not need to store the product. With affiliate marketing you are selling another merchant's product. He provides you with the affiliate link and you promote this link directly.

Even though it is true that having your own website can greatly improve your chances of success with an Affiliate Marketing Business. Can it can be done without one? The answer of course is "yes" and if money is a stumbling block when you start an Internet Business, then it is a viable alternative to the normal methods in order to get started.

The fundamentals of Affiliate Marketing are to find a quality product in your niche market within a good affiliate program. The affiliate link is provided by the merchant, which you then promote by whatever means is possible to drive traffic to the product through your affiliate link. Any resulting sales will pay you a commission. The affiliate link is tied to you through a cookie sent at the time the link is clicked, so does it matter whether you send someone directly to the product site?

In actual fact there are some drawbacks to directly promoting Affiliate marketing links, as indicated below:

  1. It seems ridiculous, but there are people who will not buy products online that include an affiliate ID in the link.

  2. Believe it or not, there are people who will change your affiliate link with their own to buy the product and get the commission.

  3. If you promote the affiliate link within Google Adwords for example, they are degrading duplicate domain root names, which are shown in each affiliate link generated. When there are a lot of affiliates in competition for the same keyword Google will place the highest bid on the keyword in the higher listings while the others are demoted to the very lower level of the listings.

  4. he merchant will get the sign-ups to their list.

  5. Although the product is good quality, in your opinion the sales page will not convert well, there is no way of remedying this without a landing page on your own domain.

The above is the list of negatives for this method of promotion, however, there is only the one positive which is your costs are reduced.

There is no restriction to sending traffic directly to the merchant's sales page through your affiliate link. There is however, a reduced number of Affiliate Marketing methods of doing so. Google Adwords now frown on ads for the same keyword that have duplicated root domains in their links and only one will show in their lists. The conclusion is that there is nothing to stop you promoting your affiliate link directly, but the sooner you can redirect through your own domain, the better.

Posting On Forums A Free And Efficient Traffic Generation Strategy
by Kelly Blackwell

Last month a forum site in my niche was second only to Google in the amount of qualified, targeted traffic it generated for my sales page.

How long did it take me to generate this avalanche of traffic? 20 minutes, including registering for the forum! Now, that's what I call an efficient way to use my time...

Every niche has forums; you can find them by searching in your favorite search engine for "niche forum". Try searching for "internet marketing forum" sometime and you'll be amazed at the number of results that come up.

When you're selecting a forum to join consider how popular the forum is, how easy it is to find and read some of the other posts. Posting on the right forums will build your reputation and grow your business by generating pre-qualified traffic for your sales page. Posting on the wrong forum, one that has poor ranking and few visitors may have the opposite effect.

Once you've found a forum where you would like to post, then you'll need to register in order to make contributions.

When you've registered, you simply search for relevant threads (discussion topics) and post your response.

When you post your response you can write it like a letter, sign it with your name and then include the url for your sales page. This will look just like a professional letter, where people write their title or position after their name. Writing your url after your name in a forum post will give it weight in the mind of the person reading your post.

The tone of your posts should fit in with the tone of the discussion thread you're posting within. Some forums are more formal in their relations than others, and some posts within forums can be more or less formal in their posts.

The key to successful traffic generation using this Forum Post Strategy is never, never advertising your site or products. If the forum users think you are using their forum for promotional purposes, then chances are you'll be banned. Or community members will post negative remarks about you and that can be even more damaging to your online reputation!

The point to posting on forums is to build yourself a reputation as an expert in your targeted niche while getting exposure for the url of your sales page. So your posts should be information rich for the forum users and keyword rich in order to get the post appropriately ranked in the search engines.

The beauty of posting on targeted niche forums is that you can follow discussion threads and continue to build your reputation as an expert by coming back from time to time to add further information to the topic.

As I said in the opening paragraph, I have used this strategy effectively to generate targeted traffic to my sales pages. Additionally, I have leveraged the time spent posting in niche forums by building relationships with other forum members. Thanks to my posts in forums I now have several endorsements in the forums, and links to my sales page from the blogs of several community members.

What Is RSS Feed and Why Would You Use It?
by Nancy Val Verde

RSS is known as "Really Simple Syndication" or "Rich Site Summary." It is a tool that can save updated content on your favorite website or blog. It updates material by scanning websites via an XML code that sends the information to subscribers. If you want to share your website, RSS, makes it really simple. You place your content in an RSS document. Next, you register your content with a website that provides RSS feeds or aggregator.

The content usually includes new or blog websites, but can contain other types of digital content such as pictures, video or audio files. Once the content is sent to a RSS feeder, the feeder usually will show a headline, some text or review of the content. If you want to read further, you will need to click on a link.

There are two kinds of aggregators to register your website with. One is a downloadable program for your desktop and the second kind is an online or web based site.

Typically, a desktop feeder charges for its program, but it also offers additional customization of page format and RSS feeds and other services. An example of a desktop aggregator is FeedDemon which features services such as a search channel that includes other RSS service, filtering of RSS feeds, built-in podcast receiver and etc.

An online aggregator is usually free of charge, but is more limited in providing customized service. My Yahoo and bloglines are two examples of online aggregators. My Yahoo has popularized RSS feeds to both users and advertisers with its customizable home page design and use of banner advertisements.

While My Yahoo may be well known, Blogline has many advantages to offer. It is user friendly for beginners and offers many benefits such as it's own directory of RSS website feeds, add-on tools for subscription buttons and automated blogrolls. In addition, it supports all major browsers such as Netscape Navigator, Internet Explorer, Firefox, and offers other benefits not listed here.

You don't have RSS feed on your site?

You can download RSS Builder. It is a freeware program that can create a RSS feed for your web site. Then you can submit RSS feeds after you download. Or you can create own format. RSS 2.0 is by consensus, an easy and simple format to use.

Why should you send out RSS feeds?

You will increase the visibility of your site and allow viewers to easily keep up with your posts. Also, it offers your users convenience of not having to search your page. They can just go to their aggregator which will provide them with a description of your site and a link to it.

After you submit RSS feeds for awhile, you will begin to attract a wider audience and increase traffic for your site as viewers begin to book mark your website for their content source.

Why should you get RSS feeds?

You can generate additional traffic to your website by adding RSS to your site. Using RSS will bypass the regular indexing procedure and will get your content indexed quickly. Also, RSS feeds can be found and read from cell phones and PDAs.

You can update your sites with new content by patching in various websites to your blog. When the various websites are updated, it will be reflected in your blog. This is an easy way to instantly add new content to your site.

You will find that RSS is a valuable tool for either a blog or website. Since you can implement it for free, you will not lose anything for trying it out. Chances are that you may enjoy the benefits of easy access to content and increased traffic to your site.

Why Keywords Are Important To SEO
by Vanessa Arellano Doctor

Search engine optimization is actually one of the best marketing tools around for online business owners to use. It revolves around marketing on the web using the science of search through combining programming with business and sales. Basically SEO is way of helping Web users searching for a particular topic to find your website which has similar content through your site's design and advertising.

Importance Of Keywords

Search engine optimization will help increase the traffic generated by your online business' website or Web page by ranking high on search engine results, and one way that this can be achieved is through the use of appropriate keywords in describing content to your website or Web page. In order to optimize and improve your website's search engine result so that you can increase your online business' chances of gaining profit, you must be able to draw targeted traffic to your website. Keep in mind that people who are searching in the Internet find websites and Web pages that are easier to find more appealing, which is why making your site easier to locate in different search engines will help your online business draw in more potential customers.

It is important to remember that already a lot of online businesses are using SEO, so in order for you to beat your competition in SEO, you must be able to know what keywords and criterion to use in order to improve your search engine results ranking. Using the appropriate keywords will help you share your site's content to a lot of Web users who are also searching for similar content. This will also help inform people of your site's content even before they visit your site. Keep in mind that people will most likely overlook your website even if your site ranks high in the search engine results if they are unable to derive what your site's content is through your keywords.

Using good keywords and their placement are essential in how your site is going to place in search engine results. So it is important that you use only relevant and appropriate keywords to your site in order to get the most traffic. Aside from this, it is also important to constantly use them all throughout your website's content and text. You can use description and keyword tags whenever you can, especially on certain page elements such as page titles, headers, links, whenever possible. Try to avoid, however, spamming unrelated, different, or grossly repetitive keywords in a single page as this can have a negative impact to your ranking. Make sure that you only use text or keywords that you want your potential customers to read.

Common SEO Mistakes

There are some online business owners who commit the mistake of ignoring their keyword selection, which is actually the most crucial factor in SEO. When they do take a notice to it, they sometimes do not use good choices of keywords, choosing very general keywords, or keywords that not a lot of people would be searching instead of using specific keywords in what they are optimizing. If a lot of your competitors are using the same keywords, then it is best that you try to find an alternative that will still bring traffic to your site.

A Full Time Income From The Internet
by Jason Tan

Not to be rude or anything, let me introduce myself first. My name is Jason Tan from Damansara Perdana, Malaysia. For your information, I am not one of the Gurus that turn up during WIC forums from time to time nor do I have a blog telling you crap that would keep you coming and coming for absolutely nothing!

I was exactly in the same shoes as you are now just last year. Yup, I am 100% Malaysian born and bred in Kepong. In case you're not from Malaysia, English is our second language, so I can speak-speak English a bit lah!

Back to my life. Just about 6 months ago, I was wondering from one opportunity to another. I was looking for a way out of my miserable life working as a low level executive in a multinational firm making others rich while I myself linger miserably in my very poor pathetic life. I was earning just RM1,500 a month while the rest came from bonuses which may go at most to another RM500 a month! Just imagine my life at that time! I had to borrow money from my father just to cover my monthly expenses.

This pathetic life of mine has finally forced me to find a way out... I started spending a couple of hundreds, in fact in the thousands on seminars, e-books and a whole lot of other get rich quick schemes. All of them pushed me into bigger and bigger debt by the day. In fact, one of the Ah-Long I owed money to was just about to come after me already!

Suddenly lady luck started coming my way...

My entire life changed with just one email. On the morning of 8/8/2006, a curious but very life changing email suddenly appeared in my inbox. Angmoh always say "curiosity killed the cat". However, this email was the opposite, it allowed me to grow money out of nothing while I was sleeping! This sounds too good to be true but it is absolutely 100% truly amazing and mind blowing here in Malaysia.

I never knew you could make money this easy and extremely fast in Malaysia!

Best thing is... it's so SIMPLE that even my father also made some money out of it!

My Life Changed At That Very Instant!

This is no MAGIC.... money is not going to fall from the sky into your lap.. BUT I'll show you a way to make it fall to your lap right after you do exactly as what I've done to make my MILLIONS!

Now that we've got that out of the way...prepare yourself for a SHOCK...

    What is an affiliate program?
    by Benjamin Wigoder

    Introduction

This article is a beginners guide to affiliate programs. If you are unsure what they are, or
would like to learn more about them, then this article is for you. I am going to explain what
they are, how they work, and how best to use them.

    How it begins

Lets say I run an internet poster site. I stock the posters, and when a visitor to my site
orders the posters, it is my responsibility to make sure the payment is processed, and the
order is dispatched by post in good time. Like all internet businesses I need visitors to
know about my site or I won't get any visitors, and therefore any money. Advertising is
expensive, so what are the alternatives? The answer is: an affiliate program.

    How the affiliate program works

They way the affiliate program works is that I give other webmasters a link with a special
code, which they can use to link to my site. In return, if they refer a visitor to my site,
and the visitor buys something, I give them a share of the profits. This share of the profits
    is called 'commission'.

How much commission to affiliate programs pay?

This varies a lot from one program to another. Some pay as little as 5% while others as much
as 50%. However, it is worth remembering that 5% of a large payment can be more than 50% of
    a small payment.

    What is a recurring commission?

If we move away from the poster example, and consider a product like web hosting. With web
hosting the customer is often billed every month or every year, instead of just once. So
many web hosting companies with affiliate programs offer recurring commissions. That way,
I get paid every time the customer gets billed, which means I could establish an income for
years, just by referring one customer.

Why are affiliate programs so great?

This is simple. Because you don't need to worry about any of the hassle. You haven't got to
handle any payments, process any customer orders or deal with shipping. You simply link to
the product site and they take care of the rest.

How to make the most of them

There is no point in just putting links to any old affiliate program on your site. If you run
a photography website why put affiliate links to a poker site? Instead, make your affiliate
programs relevant. If I ran a photography website, I would put affiliate links to posters,
cameras and maybe a photography magazine. That way, I know my visitors will be interested in
those products and therefore much more likely to purchase from them.

    Comparing different affiliate programs

It can be frustrating trying to find an affiliate program that is suitable for your site. At AffiliatesRated however you can see different affiliate programs rated and reviewed. This can make deciding on a program a lot easier.

    Conclusion

Now you know what affiliate programs are and how they work, I expect you to start using them on your site so that you can start earning a good residual income.

    Good luck!

    The Importance of a Sitemap
    by david

A sitemap is often considered redundant in the process of building a website, and that is indeed the fact if you made a sitemap for the sake of having one. By highlighting the importance of having a well constructed sitemap, you will be able to tailor your own sitemap to suit your own needs.

    1) Navigation purposes

A sitemap literally acts as a map of your site. If your visitors browses your site and gets lost between the thousands of pages on your site, they can always refer to your sitemap to see where they are, and navigate through your pages with the utmost ease.

    2) Conveying your site's theme

When your visitors load up your sitemap, they will get the gist of your site within a very short amount of time. There is no need to get the "big picture" of your site by reading through each page, and by doing that you will be saving your visitors' time.

    3) Site optimization purposes

When you create a sitemap, you are actually creating a single page which contains links to every single page on your site. Imagine what happens when search engine robots hit this page -- they will follow the links on the sitemap and naturally every single page of your site gets indexed by search engines! It is also for this purpose that a link to the sitemap has to be placed prominently on the front page of your website.

    4) Organization and relevance

A sitemap enables you to have a complete bird's eye view of your site structure, and whenever you need to add new content or new sections, you will be able to take the existing hierarchy into consideration just by glancing at the sitemap. As a result, you will have a perfectly organized site with everything sorted according to their relevance.

From the above reasons, it is most important to implement a sitemap for website projects with a considerable size. Through this way, you will be able to keep your website easily accessible and neatly organized for everyone.

An Introduction To Making Money With Google Adsense
    by Boone Swann

For those who have never used Adsense before, you will be delighted to learn of the wonderful ways that you can make money online with this program. Adsense is an ad revenue sharing program instituted by Google. It is a program that allows website owners to place a simple piece of code on their websites. The code generates ads that have links to other sites. As users visit your site and click on the ads, you will generate a share of earnings based upon those clicks. The Adsense code generates ads that are targeted towards the keywords used on your website, ensuring that the links are relative and meaningful.

There are many ways to use the Adsense program to your advantage and to increase the amount of earnings you make. However, the first rule of thumb when using Adsense is to read their terms of service and ensure that you are not violating their terms. For example, ads may not be placed on sites that have certain content, such as gambling, drugs, or tobacco, so be sure to understand the rules before setting up the code on your website.

Also, there is a limit on how many different ad units you may display at once on your pages. They also have a referral program, search box, and tools that you can incorporate with your Google Adsense to earn additional revenue. Be sure to read the terms of use thoroughly to make sure that you don't exceed the limit of ads on your website.

Many webmasters often have more than one site. With the popularity of bogging, Google Adsense has made it very simple to add the code to multiple sites and blogs. Once you have created a Google Adsense account, you will use that same account for all of the ads, search boxes, or referral products on any website or blog that you run. This makes it very easy to add Adsense code to other websites and blogs simply by using code. In fact, Blogger is a tool that allows users to put Google Adsense code directly into their blogs, allowing more people to earn with Google Adsense then ever before.

Some other advantages towards using Google Adsense include the facts that you can display other affiliate ads while promoting Google Adsense at the same time. Also, you can customize the look and feel of the ads by selecting colors that compliment your website. This is a very important strategy used to attract visitors to the ads and ultimately, clicking the links.

The ads are also customizable, and you have the option of targeting certain ads, and removing a limited amount of URLs from the ads displayed. This is highly effective in ensuring that your competitors are not displaying ads on your site.

It is also important to realize that Google Adsense hosts many forums, blogs, and webmaster resources to help make your Google Adsense links more effective. By taking the time to review their terms, make sure that your website meets their guidelines, and using their resources you can earn money online through your own Google Adsense links.

    Requirements for a Franchise Business
    by Naz Daud

We all know the benefits of a home business. Working at home means that you can avoid traffic jams, forget about office politics and benefit from lower overheads. How does it affect the children? I believe that they benefit from hearing mum or dad discussing business on the phone or meeting business people at home.

Think about it - whatever business you are in, if you were working in the office they would never hear a word of your business language. Most children are not even aware of the type of business mums and dads do when they work away from home.

Normally when most parents speak to children they tend to use smaller words and often talk down to them. Then the phone rings and all of a sudden the kids are introduced to new words and a different manner of speaking.

How often do children ask you "what are you doing?" Even by answering this simple question they are learning. "I am working on a strategy to generate more sales". "Why are you doing that?" "So that we can make more money. Then I will be able to afford to buy you your new trampoline...."

Even a simple conversation like the one above teaches children the value of money. They realise how hard you work to earn a living.

Children also tend to learn simple tasks like how to answer the phone and take messages. They know that when the rings they should be quiet because mum or dad might be talking business.

Children as they grow older can also assist with basic tasks like proof reading a new article or inputting data in a computer. This means that they receive slightly more pocket money and again teaches them the value of money.

Working from home also means that you get to spend a lot more time with the children. Often people in employment leave the house before the children have even woke up. And sometimes they arrive home after they are in bed.

However it is not all a bed of roses. Children can get in the way and become a hindrance. Imagine for a minute... you are on an important phone call and the six year old starts crying because he has hurt himself.

This is where having a separate room as an office helps. At critical time just lock the door! When you leave the house for a meeting and the door is locked you know that everything will be in the same place as you left it!

Saving Money With A Home Business
    by Earl Williams

With gas prices on the soar, home business owners love their lives. They use less gas than the average worker, so they save more money. Countless hours aren't lost in cars, trains or buses. Home business owners aren't rushed by traffic or caught in time consuming traffic jams. There is no driving to work or rushing all over town to drop the kids off at school, the daycare then get to work.

Driving somewhere to find food doesn't eat half of your lunch break time. You have the peace of mind knowing that you will never be late getting to work in the morning or coming back from lunch. Then you have other cost like car maintenance, clothing cost laundry bills and so on. All these cost can add up over time, but with a home base business these cost can be cut in half, plus you get to do things other parents don't get to do. You will be one of the few members of the work force who can finally makes it to a child's ballgame on time.

Any woman who has had a child has had offers to work from home. In the past they have been from medical transcriptions, stuff envelopes for coupon companies, test products such as toys or kitchen appliances. The can even practice law from a home office, have an online store, or have a beauty salon in your home. But now with the Internet you have a lot more choices to choose from. One thing is certain: you will be your own boss. It is true that having a home business can be time consuming. However, once it is up and running, you are your own boss. This means being able to decide your own schedule, what type of clients you wish to handle and more importantly, no commute which save gas.

Being able to make your own schedule is a major plus for home business owners. Most enjoy not being strapped down to a rigid nine to five schedule. They are able to stay at home and meet the needs of their family and still be able to feel like a contributing member of the work force. Stay at home moms often feel shut off from the world, or that they have lost their identity. Having a home business alleviates some of those feelings. They can now communicate with others from all over the world, which keeps them in touch with what's going on.

When you work for any company you rarely have the choice of whom you wish to serve. Someone else, who has had it doled out to him or her, normally doles out the clientele. When you have your own business at home, you then become the person who is in charge of clientele. Instead of taking chances on dealing with clients whom you have no compatibility, you can pick and choose. This is true even for those who have an online business. You can choose what your products are, therefore allowing you to have a more select choice of clients. So go ahead and get started with your own home-based business.

    Call Center Performance Management
    by Sam Miller

Call Centers, or customer services receiving and transmitting multiple requests by telephone, were introduced as offshoots of telecommunications providing streamlined service for consumers of large companies with extensive customer support needs. Normally, a call center is able to handle a considerable volume of calls at the same time, i.e. to screen calls and forward them to skilled support staff, where most issues can be resolved. Organizations starting from mail-order catalog companies and telemarketing companies to computer product help desks use call centers.

Typically, there are two types of calls ? inbound and outbound. The latter suggests the agent's calling potential customers with intentions to sell or service which is amply used in telemarketing. Apart from it inbound calls are made by the customer to get information or ask for help reporting malfunction of the product.

That's where the problem of management performance is acute. Performance measures and benchmarking are indispensable to any well-run call center to eliminate criticism of call centers on common themes such as non-expert operators, poor training of agents incapable to process customers' requests effectively, automated queuing systems resulting in long hold times, operators working from a script, etc. Benchmarking, typically associated with strategic management, presupposes evaluation of business processes in relation to best practice and helps to develop plans with the aim of increasing performance levels. At large benchmarking reforms all the levels of the company ? from the state of mind of the employees to that of top managers, penetrating into the whole hierarchical organization of the organization. The gist of benchmarking is to break the resistance to change by employing methods different from the currently used ones that might be less effective in order to increase certain aspects of performance.

The most conspicuous performance measures include the mean conversation time, or Average Talk Time (ATT), the time of delay a caller may experience waiting while queuing, the mean dealing time, or Average Handling Time (AHT), the number of calls (%) answered within the limited period, or Service Level (SL%), the number of calls per hour the operator handles, the number of calls (%) with the customer's problem completely resolved and others.

A variety of different technologies enables companies to measure and monitor the performance of the workers. The Balanced scorecard, introduced by R.S. Kaplan and D. Norton in 1992, is a concept for measuring a company's activities to make managers focus on the important performance metrics that lead to success. It's not only financial outcomes that are in focus, but the human issues that drive those outcomes. Thus, it is said to balance the financial perspective with customer, process and employee perspectives. Since the time of the original concept the scorecard metrics have been revisited by Kaplan & Norton with regard to more than a decade's experience.

Typically the following processes are on the move when the scorecard is implemented: translating the vision into operational goals, linking the vision to individual performance, business planning, learning and adjusting the strategy according to the feedback. To improve the performance of call centers one should know what metrics are best qualified. The right metrics should be performed on a call center to fulfill the scorecard.

The hallmark of a good call center is the staff's call management skills and that means interactive training can help achieve excellence at different levels ? for the agents, supervisors and managers. It is essential for managers to know how to recruit and train the staff to reach the strategic goals of the company, to manage the key metrics and consequently improve performance.

Different programs are designed to deliver training to call center teams. They might include practice, role-play, feedback and coaching. As keeping customers satisfied is a primary concern of any call center training courses feature quality programs which enhance the performance with respect to one of the most urgent demands ? training skilful professionals. It means they employ different training methods to evaluate current training processes and measure and improve training effectiveness. Fertile training leads to reinforcing the appropriate skills for performance improvement and achieving higher levels of customer loyalty.

Developing Human Resource Policies for Your Small Business
    by Joe Mangrove

As your small business grows, you'll discover that the more employees you hire, the more help you need with personnel issues. By the time you're ready to establish a position or department for managing human resources concerns, it's past time to consider a human resources policy. The idea of "policies" make some small business owners cringe, but the hiring and management of individuals other than yourself will bring a wealth of unanticipated needs. Considering the development of such policies could sound daunting, as well, but once you put a plan into place, the process can be more streamlined. Your plan should include research, room for growth, and presentation. Start with these fundamentals and you'll be well on your way.

One of the first pieces of research you'll want to undertake should be to governmental resources. Local, state and national resources are available for business owners and because there are non-negotiable legal matters, you'll want to address labor law compliance, immediately. Once you're familiar with the laws for your type of business, your geographical region, and the number of employees, you can move on to other industry-related resources to provide guidance in developing additional policies.

Consider, too, the best way to package the contents leaving room for expansion. Let's say you have a simple policy concerning employee attire. But you know better than to solidify that area; trends change, and ultimately you could be faced with work-appropriate dress code issues you never imagined. Has your policy been written with room for flexibility? Is there room to reword or even add additional outlined parts to your dress code? You may be glad later.

Having begun drafting, now consider how you'll make that information available to your employees. Some companies create a manual which can grow as your policies shift and expand. Others put the policies together in a brochure or flyer that's distributed to each new-hire. Still others publish their policies on their company websites. Of course there's nothing that says you can't use more than one of these methods of presentation.

From planning, drafting and production, your human resources policy manual, no matter the length, will help save time and money as your organization grows. Use the resources available to you, at governmental levels, and also through human resource management-related associations, websites and publications. Use a flexible, organized structure with plenty of wiggle room. Finally, make sure your finished product is output in an easy-to-read, easy-to-locate format. And, of course, remember to make each employee aware of its existence. The human resources policy manual may not seem related to the reason you started your business in the first place, but the development of such a document will ensure the more efficient likelihood that you'll have more time to spend doing the things that drew you to the business in the first place. Think of it as a business investment. Maybe one of the best ones you'll ever make.

Article submission works better than links exchange
    by Sam Miller

Why use article marketing and not some other kind of marketing? To answer this questions we need to list first the types of online marketing that are popular today, then we will be able to compare results and will find out in what case article marketing works better than any other kind of marketing.

Let's start with article marketing itself. First, what kind of investment you need to do? You will need to write an article for submission purpose and you will need to submit it to 100+ web-sites or just to few major ones. The costs for copywriting service start at 10$ per 500 words and depend a lot on quality of the article. As for submission you can do it yourself or find really cheap options, for instance you can submit to bulk sites for just 10$. What about results? You will have an article listed on hundred of sites, that tells about your niche, and you will have a link which points to your site. There are good chances that Google will treat this page and the link as useful. As link comes from article which is related to your web-site topic.

What about other methods. What about directory submission? There are a number of directories available, and it is quite easy to submit your site to 100+ directories with high PR. You will be able to specify submission title (e.g. anchor text for you link), your description and your link. Good news is that it will not cost much to submit your web-site to directories starting with PR4 Google rating. But let's think about content where your link will be listed. If you are submitting business management related web-site, then you should carefully choose a category to place your link, the perfect would be "Business > Management", but there will be also a lot of other links. There is no guaranty that Google will treat these links and their description as related to your niche. But directories submission works now fine, it's a cheaper option (or addition) to article marketing.

There are also a number of methods. For instance, it is talked widely, that you should participate in forums for your topic. This is a great idea, but it will cost you much more time to find and answer questions in forums. Also, if you would like to hire someone to answer posts in forum you will have to pay much more than in the case of article marketing or directory submission.

Any other options? Actually, yes. You can run a free link exchange with sites and get inbound links, but in this case you will need to invest your time in finding sites, that are willing to exchange links with you, also, you will have to put a link back to this site. An option might be buying inbound links, it is easier to find sites that will place your link for some fee, but typically you will need to pay for a link each month, that is not a good investment I think, unless you have found a very good sites related to your product's niche.

The best idea about article marketing is that is is measurable, you will easily find out what works and what doesn't work. It is a good long-term investment in your online visibility.

Should you add a forum to your website? The pros and cons explained
    by Will Kalif

Have you been considering adding a forum to your website? There are some distinct advantages and some real disadvantages. Here is an overview of some of the pros and cons of having a forum associated with your site.

    Pros:
People can get very devoted to forums. They will check in every day and watch their favorite topics. They will make lots of posts. It is a great way to build community. All of this posting by other people will add a lot of content to your site! The forum is also a great way to become an expert in your subject and a great way to point people toward the stuff on your website. It is also very possible that after a while you can pretty much leave the forum alone (once you have found a moderator or two that will take on the workload). This will free you up to concentrate on more content for your traditional site.

    Cons:
Installation - A forum can be difficult to install and get running properly if you have to do it yourself. But many webhosting companies will do this for you with the click of a button. I host with a company called netfirms and all I have to do is press a few buttons telling them where I want the forum installed and they go ahead and do it then send me my admin password. It's rather nice. And it uses phpbb which is a standard forum package and totally free.
Kick starting your forum - This can be difficult. People may go over to your forum and take a look but if they see very few posts they are probably not going to post anything. People want to see a lot of stuff that they can browse through. They want to find a thread that interests them. And this takes work! You may find yourself asking your friends to help you get some conversations started.
Management - Once a forum gets going it takes time to register people, monitor the messages and moderate the topics. With a popular forum this can turn into a full time job. But you can turn this over to volunteers. People love to become moderators of forums and you should be able to find trusted individuals to help you monitor and care for it.
Spambots - This is the worst part of forum management. Every day you are going to be inundated with spam selling sex and prescription drugs. They try to post messages to your forum in an attempt to get their links shown. You will spend time identifying and deleting spambots and their posts.

A forum is an enormous stone ball that can be very difficult to get started but like the stone ball once it gets rolling it really can build up a lot of steam and take off fast! My recommendation is that you start a forum, ask your friends to help populate it with interesting stuff, and you keep working it until it is going good. Then hand it over to trusted moderators and move on to other things. It is a good investment in time. But because it is about a subject you love you are going to find yourself reading through a lot of great stuff that other people post.

Practice Management Software at its Best
    by Andrea Martin

Below is a story that shows why installing emr software in any medical practice will really improve how patients are treated. The healthcare industry has been slow to implement the software and surprisingly only about 10% of medical practices use it.

let me make up a little boy named Derek. Derek was a kind 3 year old that liked to play with his older brother Joe. Derek was jealous of his brother's bike. His parents decided to buy him a bike that looked similar to Joe's. Derek showed off his new bike to all his friends and loved to race them.

One weekend Grandma and Grandpa came to watch Joe and Derek while their mom and dad went away for a conference. While their Grandparents were there Derek and Joe decided to have a race to show off for Grandma and Grandpa. Derek rode around a corner too fast and crashed on his bike. Derek cried and cried and told his Grandparents that his arm hurt where he landed on it. Derek's Grandma and Grandpa decided to take him to the emergency room at their local hospital.

Derek was crying alot because of the pain. He was also gloomy because he loved riding his bike and on the way into the emergency room his older brother had told him that if he broke his leg he couldn't ride his bike ever again.

Doctor Bill overheard Joe telling Derek about not being able to ride his bike and knew that this was a patient for him because he remembered having an older brother just like Joe. Doctor bill was a very nice doctor and very thorough. He always checked his patients records before he worked on them. The hospital recently had electronic medical record software installed. With this new emr software it only took him a few minutes to check Derek's electronic medical record and realize that his patient was very allergic to Latex. Doctor Bill quickly checked on Derek to make sure that none of the nurses were using latex gloves. The Doctor could also see how upset Derek was so he told him not to worry. He told Derek that he had broke his leg that Derek could pick out the color of his cast.

Derek desired to have a yellow cast, so Dr. Bill put it on his leg. The Doctor also reassured Derek that he would be able to ride his bike again no matter what his brother had told him.

In five weeks Derek needed to return to get his leg checked and possiby remove the cast. The receptionist at the hospital used the hospital's practice management software to make an appointment for Derek.

Derek's grandparents felt bad for Derek and his leg so in order to make things better they decided to go get some ice cream. After the 5 weeks were up Derek and his family made their trip back to the hospital where Dr. Bill took his cast off. Dr. Bil was happy to see that Derek's leg had healed and warned him that he needed to ride his bike more carefully.

When Derek arrived home from the hospital the first thing he did was ride his bike around the driveway. Derek's parents were very happy to watch their son riding his bike around. They knew that if the Doctor at the hospital where Derek's Grandparents had taken him hadn't had an electronic medical record installed he could have had a bigger problem than just a broken leg. They were very thankful that the emr system was installed at their local hospital.

Tips To Get Repeat Web Traffic
    by Sullenest

    1. Update the pages on your website frequently. Stagnant sites are dropped by some search engines. You can even put a date counter on the page to show when it was last updated.

    2. Offer additional value on your website. For affiliates and partners you can place links to their sites and products and ask them to do the same for you. You can also advertise their books or videos, if these products relate to your industry and are not in competition with your own product.

    3. You can allow customers to 'opt in' to get discounts and special offers. Place a link on your site to invite customers to 'opt in' to get a monthly newsletter or valuable coupons.

    4. Add a link to your primary page with a script 'Book Mark or Add this site to your Favorites'.

    5. Add a link 'Recommend this site to a Friend' so that the visitor can email your website link, with a prewritten title, "Thought you might be interested in this", just by clicking on it.

    6. Brand your website so that visitors always know they are on your site. Use consistent colors, logos and slogans and always provide a 'Contact Us' link on each page.

    7. Create a 'Our Policies' page that clearly defines your philosophy and principles in dealing with your customers. Also post your privacy policy as well so that clients know they are secure when they visit your site.

    8. Create a FAQ page which addresses most of the doubts and clarifications about your product or your company that are likely to be asked. This helps to resolve most of the customers doubts in their first visit to your site.

    8. Ensure that each page on your website has appropriate titles and keywords so that your customer can find their way back to your site if they lose the book mark.

    9. Never spam a client, who has opted for newsletters, with unsolicited emails. Later if they decide they want to 'opt out' of the mailings, be sure you honor their request and take them off the mailing list. They may still come back if they like your products. But they will certainly not come back if you continue to flood their email box with mails they no longer wish to receive.

The Sad Truth About Web Site Traffic Numbers!
    by David Robertson

Lets suppose you want to turn your internet income stream into a full time income replacement.

What type of website traffic and numbers do you need to do this?

What are realistic traffic numbers you can expect and need to accomplish this?

What can you do to improve your website numbers?

Lets be conservative in all our numbers and don't worry I will do the math for you. So if you want to replace $30,000 (a moderate income by todays standards) a year income with affiliate sales how will this have to work? From what I have seen so far the average return on an affiliate sale is $10 to $20. So lets take a mid point of $15.00. This means that to make $30k in a year we would have to sell 2000 affiliate products in a year ( 30000/15=2000).

2000 is not a huge number considering all the people on the net. Now we break this down to the number of sales per day. 2000/365=5.5 or 6 sales per day. Again sounds reasonable. Now comes the sad truth!

If a new website translates .1% to 1% of traffic into sales that means we need 1000 to 100 visitors to make a sale or (6 x 1000 = 6000) visitors a day to make our 6 sales a day. If our website is good at returning sales perhaps the 600 visitors would be closer to our requirements.

What does this mean? Lets suppose we are using Pay Per Click Advertising on Google to drive traffic to our new website. If we chose low cost key words at $.10 a click our costs will be $60.00 to $600.00 to get all the traffic we need to generate our 6 sales to make our income. But wait we now have paid out $60.00 to get $90.00 worth of business (best case scenario 600 visitors) We are ahead of the game but not making our living.

As long as we are ahead of the game PPC is valid but it should not be our only focus. We need to optimize our website so it ranks well for free searches of our targeted keywords. This will boost our traffic at no cost to us.

This also means that each visitor to our website is valuable and we should give them the best experience possible so that they wish to return. If at all possible we should get their name and email address so that we can contact them again with product offers.

It also means that external links to our site should be considered very valuable since they will bring more customers our way.

Don't be fooled by the numbers of website traffic and don't be dissuaded by them either. You will need a lot of visits to make a steady income but this is possible with the right techniques.
